Going into this game the coaches knew it was going to be a
tough one. The team we were playing had scored over 50 points in their first 2
games while only giving up 13! We ended up putting in a spread offense to thin
their defense out a little, and for the most part it worked OK. While we only
scored 12 points, we moved the ball well at times. Our defense still needs to
work on stopping the runs to the outside and tackling a little better, other
than that I really can't complain. We put them in bad field position at the
start of the game with our kick return game not working well. Anyway, our first
passing touchdown of the year came today on a 70 or 80 yard throw and run, so
that was nice to see. Oh, by the way, the final result was a 12-31 loss.
Just a remind, Tyler is #53 this season. I am also an
assistant coach, so thank Tara for the pictures!

After the game we got together for a quick moment to take some
pictures with several of the young ones from my side of the family. My cousin
Angie and her husband Dan were there with their two kids, Lindsey (who is a
Flushing Cheerleader) and Braden, while my sister Erica brought her kids,
Donovan and Marissa.
