Samantha's made her first All-Star team this year, and they played their game on Wednesday, June 30th. It was a good game throughout, although Sam's team gave up 5 runs in the top of the sixth inning to tie the game. Thankfully they managed to get two runners on base (Sam on first and another player on second) with two outs in the bottom half of the inning, and Sam's friend Ben stepped to the plate and cranked out the game winning double, which managed to drive in the winning run (in coach pitch baseball the players are allowed to continue running the bases until an opposing player touches the ball). This should have been enough to end the game, but they kept playing anyway. Her team went on to score 5 more runs, proving the final margin of 17-11.

    Samantha had a good personally, playing multiple positions in the field without an error. She also went 3 for 4 from the plate, getting three singles to go with one strikeout. Overall Sam had a great game to go with a great season, and we are extremely proud of her. Love you Sam!
