After playing their fourth game in eight days on Saturday, May 8th, Tyler's baseball team is certainly off to a rough start to the season. Today's game was played in frigid weather, with a bit of rain to top it off. Although neither team hit the ball well, pitching ended up being the downfall today as the walks continued to pile up. About the only thing positive to say about this game is that they scored a season high in runs with 4, which wasn't nearly enough to prevent a 10-4 loss. Once again, Tyler struggled at the plate, striking out twice. He played both right and left field today, but didn't see any balls hit his way (in no small part to the 50+ mph wind blowing in from the outfield).
