Upper Tahquamenon Falls

Once we had completed our tour of the upper falls area we made the drive down to the lower falls. This was the area the kids were absolutely waiting for. I am not really much of a water person (although I must admit that a hot tub would suit my style to a "T"), but I wore my suit in case an adult needed to go in to help one of the kids. I am glad I did, because I truly enjoyed myself wading through the water to get to the various falls. I managed to get every one of the kids across the river, except Drew - he made it halfway across the river, but didn't like the unsure footing that wasn't helped by the flow of the river around his legs.
