Here are a few more shots from our time spent inside Cobo Center for the North American International Auto Show...

Jayden and Samantha also took a turn sitting inside the new Dodge Charger.

Andrew in the passenger seat of a Ram pickup. The entire family thought the stitching in the seat was just a bit too much.

Jay and Drew in the Ram truck.

Jay, Sam, and Drew together.

Jay and Sam in the back of a minivan.

Sam posing with a Fiat. She wasn't too impressed with the paint job.

Tyler posing with one of his favorite cars - a Ferrari.

Drew and Jay with an older Fiat.

Tyler and Sammie with a near glow in the dark Mercedes.

Drew and Jay with the same Mercedes as above.

This Mini/airplane was in the lobby outside the show.

Sam, Jay, and Drew posing with the Mini airplane car.

The car from the upcoming Green Harnet movie.

As I mentioned on the previous page of pictures, Chevrolet had a display set up with 27 cameras that took a picture simultaneously. The result is a very Matrix-like photograph, which the kids participated in. I think some of them may have jumped just a little bit early, which is why Tyler and Drew appear to be back on the ground already. Regardless, I think the end result is pretty cool. Judge for yourself...

After we finished our tour of the auto show floor, including a test drive (well, test ride is more accurate) in the eco-car section downstairs, we decided that it was time for lunch (The boys and I rode in a new Chevrolet Volt - very nice, and very quiet - while the girls and Tara rode in a Lincoln - fancy pants!). Per our tradition, we took the People Mover to Greektown to dine at PizzaPapalis. Apparently lunch was a good plan, because we heard it was much, much busier at dinner. Here are a few pictures of our time waiting for and riding on the People Mover (and I'm glad I took pictures on the ride to Greektown, because the cars were jam-packed coming back from lunch)...

The People Mover

One of the cars in the mural on the wall of the Cobo Center station.

Tyler standing on the platform while waiting for the train to arrive. The remainder of the mural is visible across the tracks.

Andrew, Tyler, and Jayden seated on the People Mover. Once again the kids managed to choose their seats poorly! For evidence of their track record, check out the pictures from 2010 and 2009.

A view down one of the streets in the city of Detroit.

Tara and Drew in the middle of a conversation.

Comerica Park and Ford Field, as seen from the People Mover.

A church located near the two stadiums (and as seen in the picture above).
