Samantha and her La Forza Fire & Ice teammates played their first indoor game of Session I on Saturday, November 5th. The girls are playing 8v8 this year, on bigger fields than they used on last fall - with bigger goals as well. While we expected the larger goals to mean an increase in scoring, the first game didn't really work out that way. Samantha's team jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but the Phoenix team later tied them up. The action went in the same manner with the scoring being tied at 2-2. The La Forza girls broke open a 2 goal lead in the second half, but a late goal brought the score within 1, which wound up as the final result - a 4-3 victory for the combined La Forza team. Samantha didn't score any goals today, but she played hard and displayed a little bit of aggression today as well.
