Once again Samantha has opted to play baseball as opposed
to going the more traditional route and playing softball. She has moved up a
level this year, and will be playing at the Major level. As has been the case
for the past few years, the Major level teams play "travel" baseball against
teams from the surrounding areas - for us that means she will be playing against
teams from Lake Fenton, Linden, and Linden, in addition to the other Holly
teams. As always, check back here for pictures and game results!
For a quick reference, since the "Location" category below
isn't the most descriptive... KRC = Karl Richter Campus, the home fields of the
Holly Little League. LFTH = Lake Fenton Torrey Hills. Linden El = Linden
Elementary. AGS = Andrew G. Schmidt Middle School in Fenton. LLS = Linden
Liberty Shores.

of Samantha's exploits on the ball field, when a shortage of players arose
for the softball all-star tournament, Sam was invited to join. Although she
has minimal experience playing softball, she held her own at practice and is
feeling comfortable with the idea of playing with this group of girls. We
will see how it goes! If her team wins their first game, then they will play
a second game.
