Tyler and his Broncho teammates took on the Flint Powers
team at their field tonight, and it wasn't always a pretty game. Despite playing
fairly effectively on offense the boys were unable to put one past the Powers
keeper. The hung tough in the first half, trailing 3-0 but not really giving up
too many quality chances to the opposition. A goal keeper switch of their own in
the second half did little to inspire them, as things got out of hand as Powers
scored 2 quick goals to open the half. At that point it was all over but the
shouting. Powers tacked on two more goals before the final buzzer sounded,
handing the Bronchos another defeat, this time by a score of 7-0. Tyler had an
OK game, pressuring the defenders when the opportunity presented. He also got
his foot on the ball in close to the net, but couldn't knock it in. One of these
days, as he improves slowly, he will get a goal.
