The Henry Ford

June 3rd, 2014

Drew's class took a field trip to The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village on Tuesday, June 3rd. I was able to go with him as his chaperone today, and while I was excited to learn that I would not be responsible for any other children, I'm not sure Drew shared my enthusiasm. I was looking forward to spending the day with Drew, which is what we did, but I later learned that he would have been happier spending the day with his friends from school. I guess next time I should stay home and either let someone else chaperone, or let him hang out with one of his friends and their parents instead...

We started out inside the museum, where we briefly met up with one of our friends, Becky, whose son was also on a field trip to The Henry Ford today. We didn't spend as much time inside the museum as I would have liked, but I attempted to let Drew choose where we wandered throughout the day. We did cover quite a bit of territory inside the museum, we just didn't spend much time in each area.
