    The final game for Samantha and her Avengers teammates was against the Michigan Mystics. This game was a close battle throughout, with both teams playing well overall. The Avengers girls held the lead for the majority of the game, but the Mystics would not go away. In the end the 32-29 outcome was in favor of the Avengers, moving them to 2-1 on the day and 4-2 overall so far. Sam played well again even though she was unable to score. She played her usual strong defense while rebounding well inside against taller players.
