Game 1

The first game for Samantha's Holly Red baseball team went about as well as could be expected. They made a few mistakes here and there, but they played well overall and never really faced any challenges throughout the course of the game. Samantha had a good day at the plate, going 2 for 3 with two singles and getting thrown out at first base during her third at-bat. She did drop a pop-fly while playing second base, but she kept her calm, picked the ball up, and promptly threw the runner out with plenty of time at first base. The team batted well, and generally showed why they are expected to be one of the better teams from Holly this season. By the time the game was over, the final score was an easy 16-1 victory. Way to go guys!

	Although Sam dropped the "easy" pop fly, she recovered with enough time to pick up the ball and throw out the runner at first base.
