    Game 3 for the Holly Bronchos was at Clio Carter Middle School, and it was expected to be a tough game against teams that matched up well last year. Unfortunately one of Samantha's teammates (who also happens to be their best scorer and ball handler) rolled her ankle in the first half. The Bronchos were already struggling with her, but things didn't get any easier for Sam and the rest of the team without her. Sam played her heart out, going to the court in a fight for the ball multiple times, while also leading the team in rebounds against the much taller Clio team. She was also forced to take over the primary ball handling duties after her teammate when down with the ankle injury. It wasn't nearly enough though, as the Bronchos suffered a 45-24 defeat.
