Tyler's track and field team selected the top performers in each discipline to attend the MSU True Team Invitational in Lansing, Michigan on March 18th. Tyler was one of three chosen to compete in the high jump for the school. Tyler managed to clear the opening height of 4'-11" easily enough, though he struggled at 5'-2". He successfully cleared that height on his third try, and the bar was moved up to 5'-6" for the next attempts from the field. Although he didn't make it over the bar at that height, he came very close. His successful jumps were enough to help his team take second place overall at the meet. Not too shabby considering they hadn't even practiced high-jumping yet this year!
