    The Flint Metro League track and field season got underway on a nice April day as the Holly Bronchos took on the Fenton Tigers and the Kearsley Hornets at the Kearsley track. Tyler's primary event is the first field event of the day, the high jump. Tyler easily cleared the opening heights, and eventually topped out at 5'-4" as he was unable to clear the bar at 5'-6". Tyler also had to run the 200m dash, much to his chagrin. He managed to take first in his heat, even though it wasn't a points race for his team. He was also a part of the final event of the evening, the 4x400m relay. He didn't take this race seriously at all - he goofed off for the final half of his anchor leg. The best part of the day was that the Bronchos easily beat Fenton in their head to head battle, and they also managed to squeeze out a second victory in their battle against Kearsley.
