    As a member of the 2014-15 Holly Bronchos girls basketball team Samantha was eligible to play in the annual Holly Middle School Student vs. Staff basketball game. Samantha and her Lady Bronchos teammates took this game very seriously, building up a big lead during the first quarter before giving way to the boys team for the second. Sam and her teammates were diving for loose balls, battling for rebounds, and sticking their hands in the passing lanes. The boys seemed to struggle against the male teachers, however, as the gave away the lead that the girls had built up. The girls started out the second half, and they once again built up a lead during their time on the court in the third quarter. The boys took over in the fourth, and this time they were able to hold off the teachers, giving the students the win - the first time in a long time that the students beat the teachers in this matchup!
