    Samantha and her Michigan Impact teammates took on the last place Alliance team in tonight's contest. While they managed to come out on the positive end of a 1-0 score, It wasn't for a lack of effort on the oppositions part. In fact, were it not for a couple of fortuitous bounces that went the way of the Impact girls, this game could have easily wound up in defeat. Thankfully, the girls took advantage of their breaks and held on for the victory. Sam played pretty well tonight, making some nice moves with her feet in the field.
