Game 3

Home Up

April 25th, 2015

It was an early morning for Drew and his Storm teammates, as they had to make the drive to Bay City to face off against the Blizzard. While the entire team had their good moments of puck movement and positioning, they were unable to sneak one past the Blizzard goalie. Drew gave it his all throughout the contest, first trying a wrap-around that bounced off the goalie's pads before he took another unsuccessful whack at the puck. Later on he had a wicked one-timer that appeared to hit the post, though Drew later told me that he didn't get enough height on the shot and the goalie was able to make the save on his attempt. Regardless of any player's individual efforts, there was just enough breakdowns in the game to lead to a 10-0 defeat.

Drew woke up early enough to catch the sunrise today, and grabbed my camera to step outside to take this picture of the very colorful sky.

On the ice, Drew did his best to fight through the crowds in an effort to gain control of the loose puck.

While the scoreboard didn't show it, Drew and his teammates suffered a 10-0 defeat this morning.
