    For the second game in a row the Michigan Impact girls took on a National Macomb team, this time the Select team. Fortunately the girls didn't have nearly the struggles (or the physical battles) as they did with the previous National team. The girls kept control of the ball throughout most of the first half, and managed to score the only goal, giving them a 1-0 lead when the whistle blew. The second half was very similar, with the Impact girls dominating the ball. They had chance after chance to score, but were only able to convert on two of their shots in the half. All three goals were scored by the same player, and she almost had a fourth. There were other quality chances as well, but the girls were happy with the 3-0 victory anyway.
