June 3rd, 2016              

    Drew's fifth grade graduation took place on the final day of the 2015-16 school year, as their elementary years came to a close. Drew wound up receiving an award from the American Legion that was a shock to not only him, but to his parents as well! His teacher nominated him for the award, and it was an amazing honor and surprise to receive it.

    The award read:

"This certificate of distinguished achievement is awarded Andrew Peters of Taylor Ranch Elementary School in recognition of attainment acquired as winner of the American Legion School Award. In further recognition of the possession of those high qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship, and service with are necessary to the preservation and protection of the fundamental institutions of our government and the advancement of society."

    We are all very proud of the fine young man that Drew has become during his elementary school years, and we cannot wait to see what kind of amazing person he becomes as he grows into a young adult. We love you Drew!
