Game 10

Holly battled Swartz Creek in the Montrose tournament earlier this season, and that game was thoroughly dominated by the Dragons from Swartz Creek. Today's contest was much more evenly matched, despite what the scoreboard read at the end of the game. The two goals in the first half by Creek were fluky, as both the goalkeeper and the defender slipped down while in control of the ball on the first goal, leaving the ball in front of the net for the Swartz Creek team to tap into the net. The second goal appeared to be knocked in off of the Creek players arm with a hand-ball, but it went uncalled and the goal stood. Holly had a few good looks in the half, but they weren't able to convert on any. Holly had more looks in the second half, and once again they weren't able to find the back of the net. Swartz Creek scored two more goals, one of which was a legitimately tough goal to give up, while the other was another of the fluky variety that Holly shouldn't have allowed. Despite the 4-0 score of the game, it should have been closer, but should have's don't count in the win column...
