Game 13

The Holly Bronchos soccer team traveled to Brandon to take on the Blackhawks in today's contest. Things got off to a rough start for the Holly team, as Brandon opened with some quality scoring chances. They wound up finding the back of the net on their second shot of the game, less than 10 minutes in. That would turn out the only goal that Brandon would need to score, though it wasn't the only time that they would. With just over 10 minutes remaining in the half, they managed to score their second goal of the game. Holly tried to mount a comeback, but they just weren't able to get a quality shot on goal in that time. The halftime buzzer sounded with Brandon ahead by the 2-0 score. The second half wasn't much to write home about, as Brandon once again scored near the 10 minute mark, this time on their first shot of the half. The only highlight of the day was when Brandon earned a penalty kick, which was saved by the Holly goalkeeper on a tremendous effort. One game remaining for Samantha and her Bronchos teammates... here's hoping it's a good one!
