Samantha and her 99/00 Liverpool teammates have had a good season overall this fall, but today would be one of those days where they would look back at missed opportunities with a bit of regret. The two teams battled back and forth through the entire first half, but good defense and goalkeeping kept the game scoreless going in to halftime. The second half was a lot like the first, except this time the Galaxy squad found a way to sneak a shot in behind the Liverpool keeper. Despite their best efforts, the Liverpool girls weren't able to net the equalizer, and they found themselves on the wrong side of a 1-0 score when the final whistle blew.
