Game 2 of the tournament also happened to be Liverpool's second game of the day. Much like the earlier contest, Samantha and her teammates played a good first half of soccer, but couldn't get a goal to show for all of their hard work, despite taking on an older '99 team. The two teams went back and forth, and went to halftime tied at 0-0. The LFC team had a rocky start to the second half, giving up two quick goals to fall behind 2-0 moments in. A third Crush goal shortly before the water break made the deficit 3-0, and the LFC girls couldn't recover, despite a strong effort following the final water break. The 3-0 loss dropped the girls to 0-2 for the day.
