The Liverpool girls returned to the field this evening for the middle game of the college showcase, this time in a faceoff against the '99 Kingdom team. Thankfully this game went more in favor of the Liverpool team, as they cruised to an easy 3-0 victory and were never truly threatened. Despite the easy win, there were a few tense moments on the field, as things got a little chippy from time to time. In fact, a "skirmish" led to a girl from each team being ejected for taking a swing at each other (even though the Liverpool girl was defending herself - apparently she was supposed to just walk away).
