Today's game began with Jayden playing the forward position. She didn’t seem to be into the game at the start, but once the action got underway she came around quickly. When her teammate scored the opening goal, which Jay got the assist on, the girls seemed more motivated and excited to beat Team #3. In the second quarter, Jay moved to midfield and managed to help keep the ball on our end for the majority of the quarter. Another Holly #4 goal gave them a two-goal lead. Our opponent quickly narrowed the lead by scoring a goal of their own moments later. Going into the third quarter, the girls seemed to be evenly matched and much activity happened in the midfield with no activity on either end of the field. As they entered the final quarter, Jay was placed in goal. She didn’t see much action on her end, with her team scoring a final goal bringing the final score to a 3-1 win.
