A lot has changed over the years with the kids field days at Patterson Elementary. What was once a competition with various events where ribbons were awarded, it is now just a fun day where the kids participate in various events, but there is no real incentive in doing so. Regardless, they still seem to have fun, even if it is a tad frustrating for the more competitive kids. Jayden and her buddy for the day made it through all of the events, and had a lot of fun doing so. Some of the pictures from my time at field day are below...
