Jayden's team traveled to Lake Fenton for their first road game of the year tonight. The game got off to a slow start, as both teams had plenty of walks and each scored the maximum 5 runs each. Holly 1 only managed two runs in the second inning, one of which was Jay after being walked and stealing a couple bases. The Lake Fenton girls plated the maximum 5 once again, taking a 3 run lead after their half of the inning. From that point on it was all Holly, as they would keep the Lake Fenton girls off the scoreboard for the rest of the game, while they would score 5 runs in the next two innings to invoke the mercy rule. Jay got the big hit of the night, slapping a liner that found her standing on third base when it was all said and done, also driving in two runs in the process. The 17-10 victory moved the girls to 2-0 on the season. Way to go girls!
