Game 4

This game started out good for Jayden and her Liverpool FC teammates, as they scored the first goal of the game to grab an early lead. Jay was on the field for the goal, in her usual defensive position. She subbed out part way through the half, and while she was on the bench the Michigan Burn team managed to find their way down the field to score two goals to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.

The Liverpool girls were ready to play in the second half, though, and they fought back to score the game tying goal. Most of the half was played with the score knotted at 2 goals apiece, but a late foul gave Liverpool a penalty kick. They were able to convert, giving them a 3-2 lead. They were able to hold off the Michigan Burn rally attempt, maintaining the lead through the final whistle of the game.
