Game 3

Samantha played in her first game after missing the past few due to a recurring knee issue, this time at home against the Davison Cardinals. The two teams battled back and forth, but it was Davison that got on the board first, getting one past Holly's backup keeper to grab the 1-0 lead midway through the first half. Ten minutes later, they added on to their lead, scoring the second goal of the half. That score would stand until halfway, which the Bronchos entered trailing by a 2-0 score.

The second half was pretty similar, with Davison getting on the board just less that halfway though to expand their lead to 3-0. It took a while, but Holly finally broke through, scoring their first (and only) goal just under the midway mark. The Bronchos celebration was short lived however, as the Cardinals answered back with their fourth (and final) goal of the game just 22 seconds later, retaking their three goal margin. That would be it between the two teams, as Holly would fall to Davison by a 4-1 score.
