After taking a serious trouncing in the first game today, Drew and his Everblades teammates had a much stronger showing in this afternoon's contest. Neither team was able to produce anything in the first period, aside from a lot of shots on goal and a couple of penalties. The period would come to a close with the score tied 0-0.

The second period was better for the Everblades, as Drew was able to draw a Panthers tripping penalty. The power play resulted in the game's first goal, as the Everblades got on the board first, grabbing a 1-0 lead. That score would hold through the remainder of the period.

While the Panthers dominated the shots on goal in the third period, they weren't able to convert until the very end. After pulling their goalie, the Panthers managed to knot things up at 1 goal apiece with less than two minutes remaining.
