For the first time in three weeks, Drew and his Jr. Everblades teammates returned to the ice for a regular season game. This morning's contest was against the Palm Beach Breakers in Pompano Beach. I wasn't able to attend the games today, so I am only basing my recap on the score sheet that Tara provided for me.

The first and second period were virtually identical in that the two teams played pretty evenly, but it was the Breakers who would "break" through first in each, taking a 1-0 lead into the first intermission and a 2-0 lead into the second. Things really fell apart for the Jr. Everblades in the third period, as the Breakers scored two goals in the first 4 minutes of action, widening their lead to 4-0. A late Breakers goal sealed the deal, closing the scoring on a 5-0 loss for the Everblades.
