This morning's home game marked the opening of the final weekend of play for Jayden and her Liverpool FC teammates, as they faced off against the Michigan Burn White team. The Liverpool girls got off to a fast start, scoring the opening goal to grab a 1-0 lead. They scored again shortly after Jay checked in to the game for the first time, widening their lead to 2-0. Unfortunately the Burn team answered back with two goals of their own to tie things up at 2-2 before halftime.

The Liverpool girls came out strong in the second half, as they scored three straight unanswered goals to take a lead that they would not give up. They would shut out the Burn team in the second half, securing the 5-2 victory. Way to go Liverpool!
