Magic Kingdom

We caught the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party parade upon entering the park today...

...with Mickey and Minnie as the starts, of course...

...but not leaving out others, like Goofy.

Of all the times we have been to the parks, I never noticed these statues of Donald Duck...

...and Goofy in front of Cinderella's Castle.

The welcome sign on Tom Sawyer Island.

The sign for Harper's Mill on Tom Sawyer Island...

...and the mill itself, with the Liberty Belle passing by in the background.

Tara making her way along one of the trails on Tom Sawyer Island.

A waterfall on the island.

The barrel bridge that we all crossed.

Drew spotted this little fellow shedding his skin.

Drew and Tara making their way across across the bridge to the other island, where Fort Langhorn is located.

A look at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad from Tom Sawyer Island.

We finally made it to Fort Langhorn.

Drew and I were able to get people on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to wave at us as they rolled past.

Tara and Drew inside Fort Langhorn on Tom Sawyer Island.

The Liberty Belle coming down the river around Tom Sawyer Island.

A closer look at the Liberty Belle.

An ad for a casket company inside the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad queue.

A few pictures from our ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad...

We took a ride on the Jungle Cruise and got to check out the scenery, like this waterfall...

...and this campsite...

...and lots of animals...

...and the backside of a waterfall...

...and more animals...

Drew and Jayden decided to take a spin on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

Drew...

...and Jay riding the magic carpet...

The entrance to the Agrabah Bazaar.

A couple shots of the outside of the building where Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room is housed...

The tikis outside of the Sunshine Tree Terrace.

We also got a chance to visit the Swiss Family Treehouse, home of the Swiss Family Robinson. This was a first for Drew and Jay.

The water system of the Swiss Family Treehouse.

A view from the Swiss Family Treehouse, with Cinderella's Castle to the left, and the Tron construction cranes off in the distance of Tomorrowland.

The roof of The Crystal Palace, as seen from the Swiss Family Treehouse.

Another view of Cinderella's Castle.

A look out the the lush landscape behind the Swiss Family Treehouse.

The tower that houses the Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.

The American flag flying over the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

The park is all decorated for Halloween!

A look down Main Street, U.S.A.

Cinderella's Castle from Main Street, U.S.A.

Another Halloween decoration, with a troupe of Waldo's behind.

This gentlemen dressed as Hercules was comfortable with his legs apparently...

We decided to leave the Magic Kingdom (it closed early for the Haloween after-hours event today anyway) and head to Epcot so that Erica could get her new Passholder magnets, Drew could pick up his coasters, and the rest could register another visit towards their coasters. While we were there we decided to walk around the World Showcase. We stopped a couple of times - one so that the ladies could try one of the beverages from the Food & Wine Festival, and another for some caramels at Karamell-Kόche in Germany, some of which were alcoholic, and some that were not (for me!).

We didn't do much else while at Epcot, aside from a quick stop at the Epcot preview center to show Grandpa Gary & Grandma Terry some of the upcoming changes to the park. After that, we decided to call it a day (and just in time, as the rain was coming in, and hit while we were heading to the car, leaving us soaked despite wearing rain ponchos). See you next time Disney!

Epcot

One of the statues spotted during our walk around the World Showcase.

The Spaceship Earth dome was lit up against the dark clouds rolling in. I was able to take quite a few pictures from a couple of different vantage points...
