I don't have much in the way of insight to share about tonight's game, as I was stuck at work while the action was taking place. From what I hear the Riverview Ice Sharks got off to a good start, and grabbed the early lead that they were able to hold to the first intermission.

The second period saw the Newsome squad knot the score at 1 goal apiece. That would be it for the scoring, as the two teams would finish the period and the game tied at 1-1.

The feedback I got on Drew's play was that he was giving solid effort and playing strong on the puck, all while displaying leadership on the ice. While the Ice Sharks didn't get the "W" tonight, it was a good effort to start the season.

	Drew keeping an eye on the puck while circling through center ice.
	Drew waiting for a pass to come his way.
