Drew was going to work on US301 headed northbound around 10:30am
on Monday, May 22nd, when he came towards an intersection
approximately two miles from home. Unfortunately, a row of cars were
trying to make the left hand turn onto the side road as he
approached, and one of the cars apparently didn't see him, because
both of them crossed paths in the middle of the intersection. Drew
made a little swerve to try to avoid the turning car, but it hit him
on the drivers side from fender/door area. Thankfully everyone was
OK, even if the vehicles involved likely weren't. The sad part for
Drew was that he was planning to leave for college in Michigan in
about two weeks, and now he is without transportation... |
