| I was notified this morning that Great-Grandma Parrott was going
to be placed into hospice care today. I admit that I wasn't sure if
I wanted to go visit her, Samantha left work early and wanted to do
so. It was hard for both of us, but I am glad that we did it. Upon
arriving we could tell that she was uncomfortable and didn't have
much time left. I wanted to take a moment to thank the staff at
the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, as they cared for both Grandma
and us during our visit. They made things as comfortable as possible
for everyone in the room. Grandma was resting peacefully when Sam
and I left, and passed away the next day around noon. We will
definitely miss this amazing woman, and I know we all loved her with
all of our heart. Rest in peace Grandma - you will always be with
us. Y |
