06/12 - Ceremonies

After 99 years, we laid the matriarch of our family to rest today, as we said our final goodbye's to Great-Grandma Beulah Parrott. Tyler, Samantha, Drew, and Jayden were able to join Tara & I at the funeral, spending the day with us in Deckerville. Despite the difficult circumstances, it was great to spend time with them and family that I haven't seen in a long, long time.

Our day started with the drive from the kids house in Burton to Deckerville, for the viewing and funeral ceremony at the Peshek Family Funeral Home-Apsey Chapel in Deckerville. After the funeral, we headed over to Downing Cemetery to lay Grandma Parrott to rest. We then headed back into town to celebrate her life with a dinner at the Deckerville Community Center.
