Welcome to our 2012 Wallpaper page. This is the page where can find some of the photographs that I liked enough to use as a desktop background on my own computer. If you would like to do the same, click on a picture in order to view the image full sized. With the image opened, right-click and select the "Set as Background" option. You may also save the picture to you computer to use later. This time choose the "Save Pictures As" option from the right-click menu.

    This year some of the wallpaper selections will be available in three widescreen size options. Clicking on the thumbnail below will open a 1600x900 sized picture, which is what I use on my 17" computer screen. Clicking on 1366 link below the thumbnail will open a 1366x768 sized image, which is appropriate for our children's 15.6" computer screen. Finally, clicking on the 1440 link below the thumbnail will open a 1440x900 sized picture, which is the appropriate size for Tara's 17" computer. Starting with the pictures posted on September XX, I will only be posting the 1600x900 size image for download. This saves me a ton of work resizing photos for each size. My reasoning is simple... Tara's computer has moved on to the giant electronic graveyard in the sky, while the kid's computer screen size is a direct scaling down from the 1600x900 size image anyway, so no distortion will be visible if they use the larger size (I honestly don't know why I didn't notice this much sooner!).

    As it has been in previous years, the newest wallpapers will be located at the top of the page. To see wallpapers from previous years, click one of the links at the top or bottom of the page. Enjoy!
