August 11th, 2017

We arrived in Flint early for the Parade of Athletes before listening to dignitaries from both Hamilton and Flint speak about the honor of representing their cities and countries in the CANUSA games. Once the flags were presented, the torch was delivered and lit, and the ceremonies were complete, Drew and I headed down to the buses where we would were introduced to his billet for the weekend. Drew wound up with a nice young man named Lucas, who we would be hosting.
